No more busted knuckles

I was well versed in the "combi" style model, used it many times, sometimes on 5 piece etc..... quickly learned it works better on what it designed for (of course). When I used it on 23.5-25 it works but can be dangerous and knowing this always used caution. Yesterday I did one of these tires with it and broke my ring finger, bruised my wing bone for lack of a better term... when it slipped of inside bead one to many times, the teeth on it are obviously to small to safely and effectively get it locked onto rim when this tire had obviously never been off or at least for many years... the tire was fused to the rim with rust etc. the bead would not release easily! After many trysts it couldn't hang with my tenuous and relentless abuse and I had my way with the tire but not without some injury to talk about. Next time I will change out tools, I had the right tool at the shop, never saw the need for it... now it is in my tool box, where it will stay.
